Islam 101 is a free weekly class that provides basic information on the tenets of Islam, and delves into deeper meanings of the beliefs
and religious practices. The class is open to people of all faiths and backgrounds and has proven to be a great resource for anyone interested
in researching other faiths and cultures. Taught by Taha Selim Ustun: Taha is an experienced interfaith lecturer who
has been promoting the understanding of Islam and Muslims for a number of years in countries such as Malaysia, Turkey and Australia. He recently
Ebru classes will be taught by Ilknur Budar at TCCP starting January 20th, 2014. Sessions will be 3 hours long and will be held every Monday for 2 months. Ebru is a traditional art form practiced in Turkey.

Approved by the Knesset in June of 2013, The Prawer-Begin Plan, if implemented, will see the destruction of over 40 unrecognized Palestinian Bedouin villages in the Naqab (Negev) desert. The Plan is the second step taken by the Israeli government to confiscate Palestinian land in the Naqab, after the "Negev 2015" plan in 2005 and the appointment of the Goldberg committee in 2007.
