An Artist Talk with Andrea London

This event is free and open to the public, but registration is requested. To register, please visit: publicartpittsburgh.org.

Please join the Human Dignity Project, Office of Public Art, and the Monroeville Public Library for an Artist Talk with Andrea London.

London’s We Are All Related focuses on portraits of members of some of the most marginalized communities in Pittsburgh. They include immigrants, refugees, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and others. Many of the portraits also include the subjects’ stories, told through their own words in audiovisual recordings and text. London’s talk will include a viewing of her 16-minute video and a short panel discussion with participants from her project. Light refreshments will be available.

The Human Dignity Project is a collaboration between the Monroeville Public Library, the Monroeville Interfaith Ministerium, and Temple David. The project seeks to create opportunities to nurture Monroeville’s diverse population through education and creative endeavors. An Artist Talk With Andrea London is the first in a series of public programs sponsored by the Human Dignity Project and the Monroeville Public Library.
